Cassie Hendrix

Cassie Hendrix is entering her third year with the softball program as Director of Operations in 2024.

Hendrix handles a wide variety of tasks and responsibilities for the program. Hendrix oversees the team's planning, communication, scouting and management, while also serving as a liaison to other departments, among other areas of responsibility.

Hendrix and the entire coaching staff's outstanding work earned the group the 2023 ATEC/NFCA Midwest Region Staff of the Year Award.

She joined the Indiana Softball staff in September 2021.

From 2016-2021, Hendrix worked as Texas A&M Softball's Director of Operations and Video Coordinator.

The Indianapolis, Indiana, native lettered in softball at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, from 2008-10. The infielder was a two-time team captain for the Lady Flames and earned Big South all-conference second team honors in 2010.

She also was a member of the Big South all-tournament team and was named Virginia Sports Information Directors Second-Team All-State in 2010. In addition, she was named to the 2009-10 Big South Presidential Honor Roll.

Hendrix left Liberty following her junior year, and after six-month stint with Mercy Ministries, she embarked on an 11-month mission trip to 11 different countries with Adventures in Missions in 2012. Upon her return, Hendrix continued her education at Houghton College in Houghton, New York, and in 2013 served as an assistant coach on the Highlanders' softball staff.
